Custom furniture design

A custom furniture project for a very elegant private villa in France, a perfect balance of elegance, comfort and functionality, reflecting both tradition and modernity.

The intervention involved both the living area, with sofas, armchairs and small armchairs, and the sleeping area, with sommieres and headboard beds. Fabrics were chosen and selected from the Pierre Frey velvet and linen collections.

Each element was then expertly combined with soft curtains in Pierre Frey fabrics, made entirely by hand with refined contrasting color borders.

How the project came about

Thearchitect in charge of the villa'sredesign contacted us with a selection of custom furniture products to be made.

Based on the images provided, we made CAD drawings and 3D models for each product to define in detail measurements, materials and finishes.

Each executive phase was the subject of constant and continuous discussion with the architect in charge of the project.

Custom upholstered furniture

The realization of the furniture involved all rooms in the house, from the living area to the sleeping area.
Specifically, custom-made sofas, armchairs, small armchairs and ottomans were designed and made for the living room.

Custom sofas

The sofas for the living room are characterized by a very sober and elegant line, emphasized by the use of a shiny, iridescent-looking velvet.

The larger sofas, in light blue velvet, with a soft curvature that affects the entire development of the backrest and armrests, represent an evolution of elegant and sophisticated design.
The frame is made of solid wood and the upholstered parts of high-performance polyurethane foam, with differentiated densities according to position.

The yellow velvet sofa with a clean, linear shape, no armrests and walnut-painted wooden feet is a piece of furniture that combines elegance and modernity.
The yellow velvet adds a touch of color and luxury, while the absence of armrests and the linear shape give the sofa a contemporary, minimalist look.

Custom-made chairs, armchairs and ottomans
A fan-back chair made of iridescent yellow velvet, the main feature of which is the backrest that widens upward, creating a distinctive and decorative shape. The fabric changes hue and color intensity depending on the angle of the light, creating a fascinating and sophisticated visual effect.
The fringe, applied along the lower edge of the chair, creates a sophisticated and classic look.

The pouf features a bold, eccentric design with a flower-like structure that enhances the zebra pattern of the velvet. Combines the eclecticism of the zebra pattern with the luxury of Houlès fringe.

The armchair with round back and light blue iridescent velvet upholstery is an elegant and refined piece of furniture. Its shape gives the armchair an enveloping and cozy look, while the light blue iridescent velvet changes hues and reflections depending on the angle of the light.

Custom indoor curtains

Custom-made interior curtains perfectly complement furniture, creating cozy, well-designed environments and contributing significantly to the aesthetics and functionality of the space.

These are Pierre Frey pure linen curtains, featuring a contrasting color border applied in the three sides of the perimeter.

The edge of the master bedroom curtain features an irregular wave pattern running the full height, a unique and distinctive detail that adds an artistic and personalized touch to the decor.
