Furnishing fabrics Mariano Fortuny

The historical factory in Venice originates from Mariano Fortuny, a Spanish artist who moved to Venice at the beginning of the Nineteen and began his activity in the textiles.

Still nowadays, the Fortuny fabrics are produced in the historical factory located in the Giudecca Island in Venice, with the same process devised by the artist and kept secret even to the workers.

The collection presents drawings from the Fortuny historical archive, with new color variations updated every year.

Despite the appearance of silk, the fabric is pure cotton printed with vintage machinery and finished by hand.

Each Fortuny fabric can be used for a sofa, a wall, a chaise longue, a drapery or an upholstery.

Fortuny fabrics

For over a century, Fortuny has represented the excellence of luxury handcrafted fabrics.
The designs and patterns are inspired by tribal and geometric style and are the expression of Mariano Fortuny’s genius.
The classic motifs and damasks have represented the main feature of the Fortuny brand from the beginning of the Twenty century. The geometric and modern fabrics have repetitive signs, lines and playful shapes.
The floral designs are available in a wide range of colors inspired by the world of nature.
